We spent some time in NYC this week and made the best decision to stop by Kappo Masa for lunch.

Here we have chef Masa’s kanpachi jalapeño with fried potato julienne sitting delicately on a remarkable plate that he himself designs. Once he sketches out his ideas on paper, chef Masa has a ceramicist in Japan bring them to life – and they are just incredible. They are truly unique pieces and are something to touch, hold, and experience in person.
