Out of the hundreds of entries in our #TAOPxValrhona Chocolate Creations Contest, we’re pleased to announce the winner of our contest is pastry chef Alexis Wells from San Diego, CA. As part of the winning prize, Alexis will get to fly to NYC and experience a 2-day course of her choice at L’Ecole Valrhona Brooklyn.
“I have wanted to be a pastry chef for as long as I can remember as my great grandma was a self taught elaborate cake artist. But it was my high school cooking classes made me find my true passion,” says Alexis. “Winning this contest is an amazing opportunity to take my skills and career to the next level, but it also shows me how much I have grown within this industry!”
