Imagine dining at Hayato, one of Los Angeles’ most coveted and impossible to book restaurants. Now imagine having all seven seats and Chef Brandon Hayato Go to yourself.
For the very first time, the two Michelin starred restaurant is inviting guests to step behind the counter for a private, one on one cooking experience. Created in collaboration with Krug Champagne, where Go serves as a Krug Ambassador, this rare masterclass explores dishes such as Charcoal Grilled Amadai with Carrot Tofu in Dashi Soup, an original recipe crafted for Krug’s annual celebration of a Single Ingredient. This year’s humble muse: the carrot.

Across an unhurried afternoon, guests will learn to make an entire Japanese meal from scratch. From the foundations of making dashi to mastering both hot and cold somen noodles. The experience also includes miso soup, pickles, and a pairing of Krug Grande Cuvée.
These private sessions, offered only through the end of the year, open a rare glimpse into Los Angeles’s most elusive restaurants.
